Background

Different ID proof like Rashan Card, Pan Card for different things + fraudulent IDs----Difficulty in Government and other service-----Need for single and authenticated ID proof----fulfilled by Aadhaar

Issue
1.ambiguity in term of its use as identity as clause 57 says that it can be used for establishing identity of indvidual for any purpose 
2.benwfit of addhar would be lmited to few leakages where issue of duplicate identification is there. In case of PDS issue , addhar rather then benefit may lead to delay, denial due to lack of proper identification and slow connectivity.
3.issue of mass surveillance which is against democratic setup

5.no voice and choice which is basis of democracy as it become mandatory.

Way Forward
1.better data protection provision.
2.developing cyber capability of the government for the security of data.
3.reducing ambiquity in the act regarding access to the data.
4.Should provide aggreived indvidual to approach court directly rather than UID

1.disclosure of info on order of district judge-judge is mostly not much knowledgeable in IT related field and may not have info--

3.sec-57 : govt can extend application of adhaar to any service--which can be use by govt for targetting activist, whistleblower, political opponents
4.govt can access data as goven in act in case of national security (terrosism, drig smuggling, counter fitting)
